Nutanix HCI + Arista + Cisco + Palo Alto Firewall
Installation of a VMware virtual environment with Production and DMZ segmentation. The design leverages Nutanix Hyperconverged infrastructure nodes, HPE DX2200 Chassis, Arista and Cisco switches, with Palo Alto firewalls.

There are three (3) individual HPE DX2200 chassis that house two (2) Nutanix nodes each |

Two (2) 100Gb ports interconnect the switches to create an Arista MLAG configuration that creates a single logical switch out of two physically seperate ones. |

Two (2) 25Gb Interfaces are port-channeled together for 50Gbps of aggragate bandwidth per node to Guest Virtual Machines (VMs) that will reside in the Production network. |

Two (2) 10Gb Interfaces are port-channeled together for 20Gbps of aggragate bandwidth per node to Guest Virtual Machines (VMs) that will reside in the DMZ. |

Nutanix Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) ports provide out-of-band management and KVM connectivity to the hosts |

Stacked Cisco switches provide resiliant connectivity to the DCI in the even one of the Arista core switches goes down. |

A 10Gb Layer 2 Trunk link was used to extend VLANs between data centers briefly during a migration into the new data center. |
